1. Log in to your Dovetail account.
2. Navigate to the Menu and select Account Settings.
3. Select Reward Method.
4. Select PayPal or Venmo and follow the respective instructions.

¿Did you choose Venmo as a Payment method?

PayPal handles Venmo payments, and if the email or phone number linked to your Dovetail account is also associated with an old or inactive PayPal account—even one you haven’t used in years—PayPal might automatically redirect your payment there. If that PayPal account isn’t active, the payment could remain unclaimed or eventually be canceled.

✅ What you can do:

1. Check PayPal:
Try logging in with the email or phone number you used in Dovetail. If you find the payment there, you can claim it or transfer it to Venmo.

2. Update your Payment Method in Dovetail:
To avoid this issue in the future, you can update your preferred method and use a different phone number or email that’s not connected to PayPal.

3. Remove links from old PayPal accounts:
If you no longer use your PayPal account, consider removing any linked email or phone number to prevent future payment redirects.

If you choose Venmo, please make sure that the phone number you have listed in your account is yours. If you are unsure, you can check here.

 ⏰ When Will You Get Paid?

– We credit rewards for all accepted receipts every Friday.
– If your receipt is approved before Friday, your reward will be included in that week’s payout, and payments will be processed throughout the day.
– If it was accepted after Friday’s payment, you will have to wait until the following Friday
